Vampire RP?

Alright, I'm considering starting a vampire RP and wanted input. I know people tend to be very particular about their vampires and it would be great if everyone were happy. I'm partial to Anne Rice's mythology myself but we could take bits from different canons (Underworld, Blade, etc) and piece together something that suits everyone. Let me know what you think.


P.S. If it sparkles, it's not a vampire, it's a fairy. (Read- NO Twilight.)

I think a lot of people would like werewolves to be involved, as thats they seem a natural enemy to vampires. What ideas do you already have?

Well I imagined everyone would be happy to have the basic stuff still standing (death in sunlight/fire etc.) Getting werewolves involved is fine with me if everyone else is happy with it. It would mean we could use some pieces from the Underworld trilogy which is perfect as it means we can also utilise the sci-fi/medical theme. I like the more scientific approach to the vampire myth. I'll get a couple more opinions and set up the RP.

Yeah, i'm not sure how many opinions you're gonna get on here atm haha but vampires and werewolves are always a good mix you'll just have to pick a path to go down, i mean there's the mystical route where vampirism is a curse, and its not sunlight (ultra violet) that kills them, its the fact they are cursed not to walk in sunlight. Then there is the quasi scientific route of it being ultra violet light etc

Tell me about it, this board is quiet lol. I'll probably set up a vampires vs werwolves dynamic as everyone seems to want it. I've also decided to let the origin of each species be a little mysterious, let it be up to the character to make up their own mind depending on personal belief or lack thereof.
